Winter Staff

WINTER STAFF

We’re looking for a few good men & women to brave the snow and
serve our Lord & His children this winter!

Who? Christian adults with a heart to serve. (Must be 18 or older to work at High School camp.)

When?

             High School Weekend 1: January 15-18
             High School Weekend 2: February 12-15
             Junior High Weekend: January 29-31

Stipend: $100 per weekend plus housing and meals

Job Descriptions: (please note that, due to the small size of our winter staff, you may be asked to take on additional responsibilities)

Kitchen & Cleaning: assist with food preparation as well as daily cleaning of facilities (bathrooms, floors). If possible, assist with pre- and post-camp cleanup.

Emergency Medical Technician: prepare for and observe all camper activities. Initial observation and/or treatment of injuries. Transportation of patient to nearest hospital, if needed. EMT certification required.

Recreation Assistant: assist with recreation planning as well as setup and cleanup of equipment (including snow equipment, paintball masks and markers). Encourage and direct campers during games.

Multimedia Technician: responsible for photo and video recording of camp activities. Also expected to run soundboard, laptop, and projector during meetings.

Counselor: live & interact with a group of campers. Lead small group Bible study & prayer sessions. Participate in camper activities.

Applications: we do not have formal application deadlines for winter camps. However, because we have limited winter facilities, we are only able to hire a small number of staff. Applications will be considered as soon as they are received. Completed applications may be mailed or emailed to Cowboy’s Rest.
