We serve churches and other Christian organizations. We do not host events for secular public or private organizations. All participants must be able to sign our Doctrinal Statement and Statement of Responsibilities.
We are not connected to any one church or denomination. We serve the body of Christ united around the inerrant Word of God and salvation through Jesus Christ alone.
See our expanded Doctrinal Statement on the website. We also provide a list of Affiliated Churches who have used our facilities or promoted our events.
Yes. Cowboy’s Rest is a licensed nonprofit organization. Donations are tax-deductible; payments for services (e.g., tuition) are not.
Our Board of Directors prayerfully oversees major policy, program, and facility decisions.
We are funded partially by camper fees, with affordability sustained through donations. In 2024, 58% of costs were covered by faithful donations, allowing families to pay less than the actual cost of camp. Gifts help pay staff and keep the ministry running so that His Word is proclaimed and His people are brought together.
