Photography

We love sharing the joy of camp. Photos/video may be taken during activities for Cowboy’s Rest communications (website, social, print). We don’t publish last names without additional permission. *

General Rules

To keep camp safe and Christ-centered: respect staff and fellow campers; no alcohol, tobacco, vaping, drugs, weapons, or sexual misconduct; modest clothing required; no personal electronics (phones, gaming devices, etc.); stay out of restricted areas; follow safety instructions. *

Discipline Policy

Most issues are resolved with coaching, but unsafe or disruptive behavior may lead to consequences. Typically: three warnings (second includes a call home); the third may result in early dismissal. Dangerous behavior may result in immediate removal. No refunds for dismissals. *

I understand and accept the discipline policy, including possible early dismissal without refund for serious or repeated misconduct.

Visitor Policy

Visits can increase homesickness. Please contact the camp director before visiting. All visitors must check in with the office/director on arrival; meal or day-visit fees may apply. Some times/areas may be restricted during programs. *

Inclusion Policy

For our camp programs, we welcome any camper regardless of their gender identity. Our staff is trained to show the love of Jesus to all campers and provide a safe space. To create this environment, we have guidelines to ensure gender issues do not become a disruption at camp. We share these in advance so families can decide whether Cowboy’s Rest is the right fit. If your child identifies as LGBTQ, please discuss these guidelines with them prior to registration to help them feel comfortable.

Campers identifying as LGBTQ must not use camp to pressure others to accept their viewpoint on gender identity. If expression becomes disruptive, we may remove the camper for the good of all.
Conversely, harassment or bullying of any camper is prohibited and will be addressed immediately.
Campers identifying as transgender will be housed with their biological birth gender. Staff will use biological pronouns consistent with housing or simply use the camper’s name.

Camp Agreement

By registering, you agree that all information provided is accurate; you’ll meet payment deadlines; your camper will follow camp rules and staff directions; you’ve reviewed arrival/departure times, packing list, and directions; and you accept refund/transfer policies published by Cowboy’s Rest. *
