What We're All About...
We’re Cowboy’s Rest Christian Camp—a nondenominational ministry tucked into Nevada’s Ruby Mountains. We’ve watched campers meet Jesus, grow as disciples, and form lifelong friendships around the campfire and out on the lake, trail, and playing field. Our western heritage and Gospel-centered purpose shape everything we do.
We run summer camps for kids, students, and families, plus winter sessions and year-round church retreats. Our team is trained, our safety policies are clear, and our hospitality is simple and sincere—so you can come, breathe deep, and belong. Who can book an event at Cowboy’s Rest?
We serve churches and other Christian organizations. We do not host events for secular public or private organizations. All participants must be able to sign our Doctrinal Statement and Statement of Responsibilities.
What church is Cowboy’s Rest affiliated with?
We are not connected to any one church or denomination. We serve the body of Christ united around the inerrant Word of God and salvation through Jesus Christ alone.
What does Cowboy’s Rest believe?

Who makes policy decisions?
Our Board of Directors prayerfully oversees major policy, program, and facility decisions.
